In 2016, BMW will roll out M car with OLED

BMW M car is expected to be launched with iconic OLED technology in 2016. Also announced by BMW social media profile that BMW M car will arrive in international market very soon. Incorporation of latest OLED technology to news car or existing one is not clear, but customer is interested to poured his in new model.

At the 2015 CES, BMW introduced the M4 Concept Iconic Lights sports new OLED headlights which has unique virtue in itself that produce light from wafer-thin semiconducting layers of organic material. The OLED elements are very thin and light weighted, with a thickness of just 1.4 millimeters.

By installing the OLED segments in BMW vehicles, it is possible to create different rear lighting effects in different driving modes. Whereas normally the L-shape is wide and uniformly illuminated, and if it comes in sport mode a different-shaped light pattern can be adopted by activating only some of the OLED segments. The rear light then appears as a narrow, focused and sharply defined “strip” of light.

In past few months, we get to know about the conflicts on future BMW M8, M9 or even the resurrection of M1, but nothing has been stated officially from BMW Group. We expect the next M car will not only the sport the innovative OLEDs, but also a hybrid system Car which will produce the robust power from an electric motor and a powerful inline-six unit.
