One-millionth BMW 3 Series Car produced by BMW South Africa’s Rosslyn Plant: This was a great and celebrating moments for workers of Pretoria
Based BMW manufacturing plant as they produced the one-millionth vehicle rolled off the assembly line today. Team BMW celebrated the production
anniversary of one-millionth vehicle in the presence of member
of BMW AG Production Harald Krüger.
On this unforgettable moments said Krüger said, “BMW has
moved to Globalization as a set format of its strategy for more than four
decades. BMW manufacturing plant Rosslyn, Pretoria in South African was
established in 1973 and was BMW Group’s first foreign plant and represents a
cornerstone of our global production network with presently 30 sites in 14
countries.,”
All BMW cars produced in manufacturing plant Rosslyn, Pretoria
in South African have been also successful on the international level. With the
immediate effect of it inception BMW South Africa has exported cars and created
a benchmark. BMW 3 Series Sedan cars have been exports from Plant Rosslyn that
contributes over 17% of exports order value. Such a capacity of production and
export has consolidated the BMW South Africa’s position as one of the leading
exporter of premium vehicles
